As a man who’s spent over 35 years so far traveling the world as a photographer, I understand the irreplaceable value of visual memories — and the responsibility of preserving them. My father loved photography as well, and he shot more than 5,000 slides and 50,000 photographs on film during his lifetime, all of which I personally archived and restored. That experience shaped both my process and my respect for this kind of work.
